I was just giving you a ration....I'm just used to a bit faster progression....ie. my home in louisiana to Mom's home here in Tulsa...that was 652 miles. By the way truckers figure that it would be 13 hours plus a little more...I always made it in around 11 hours what with restroom stops, gas fill-ups and a nap (near Little Rock)...which is pretty good time...I know it's not as easy with your helper...just razzin' ya...
That's like riding on a buckboard wagon without any springs...yuck!!!!! I hope you're not going through Pennsylvania!!! Their highways are wat is called "Wash boards"...On the way in to NYC I had to stand on 1 leg and drive because the road was so rough with the air ride seats I couldn't stay still and drive...they threw me all over so I'd stand on my left foot and drive that way...unless I had to shift...it's kind of hard to double clutch without a foot to do it!!!!!
Aren't the Buffalo majestic creatures??? I just love them...we have them at Woolarock Museaum...as you drive in to the estate it's a single lane road and you drive right through the parkland and all to animals are free to roam except the Emu and Ostritch and the wild donkey heard..You don't realize just how huge the Buffalo is until you are up close and personal...like 3 or 4 feet away and he slowly swings his head to look at you and goes right on chewing...
Lovely sunset...were you driving when you took it???
OOOhh...that's really cool...remember the scene from Independence Day where everyone in their Pick-ups and motor homes are racing to get to the Airforce Base and at the end when Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith walk away from the alien craft crash site...that was all filmed on the Bville Salt Flats...
Well we are on the road again. It all ends Round the 23 th of Dec but till then we are mobile. Headed to the Windy City for the first stop it should be pretty nice. The whole family is coming this time so instead if two hotel rooms, I rented a three bedroom penthouse apt. There will be pics.
