Well another one starts tomorrow. Needless to say I will be fairly busy so I might not be around as much. You never know thoiugh. I'll keep you posted here and try to post some pictures.

I'm fascinated by the work you do...how in the world do you know where to put everything??? I realize you have done it for some time so it's second nature to you now...If I walked into that vast "arena" I would just sit down on the floor and cry...where do you start??? I mean, AFTER you set up your coffee and other stuff....
There has to be a lot that goes into pre-planning for everything needed from supplies to people, time required and so much more. Is the long table that looks like stacks of white paper on it where the plans are to put it all together? I think it's amazing how quickly it goes from nothing but a big empty room to the finished product. Arranging one room of furniture is hard enough to frustrate me.
Yes there is months of planning and changes right up to the last minute. Then it's all put into CAD and it tells you all your power points, rigging points and network. And I certainly don't have all of this under me. There are rigging and lighting people, local labor and supervisors for them. I'm along for security more than anything else. That and we brought 4 truck loads of parts from KC and 3 from Dallas that are rental properties. Those 7 trucks are what I'm supposed to keep straight. I deal with the leader of every team a little but each team takes care of itself.

That's one thing I love about it, it never becomes second nature. There are always challenges to overcome and they can come from any number of sources. And they can be solved in different ways. Whoever solves the worst issues in the easiest ways, wins.

Looks really good. Really impresses me how organized and clean it always is at every stage of development. I could never, back in the day, paint or paper a room without it looking like a hurricane hit it; stuff everywhere!
It's coffee or a stiff drink..... did this installation take 5 days or do I not know how to count??? It always seems to take less time...do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do........
